incorrect translation of Hoglin into Russian

When studying a new snapshot, I noticed a very strange word, namely свинопотам(this word is difficult to translate into English, but you can just imagine a little pig). And the first thing I remembered when reading it was hippos and children's fairy tales in which, to make the beast worse, they used the ending -pots. I imagine that hell should scare you and you shouldn't like being there, but свинопотам is ridiculous. Also, I'm not the only one who doesn't get this name, I conducted a survey among ~ 2000 players and it turned out that the name свинопотам is liked by less than 1% of the players. But at the same time, if you don't like something, you need to offer your idea. And I came up with the names for Hoglin: адский вепрь(hell boar), багряный кабан(crimson boar), боров(hog), хоглин(hoaglin). And if you do not like the name of the боров(hog), then why in the Ukrainian language Hoglin is translated as a боров(hog)?
