Item pickup animation doesn't work

What I expected to happen was...:
When I walk over an item, the item to quickly move into the player and enter my inventory.

What actually happened was...:
When I walk over an item, the item vanishes, then enters my inventory.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Drop an item on the ground
2. Walk over it
