This bug has been reported before multiple times, and due to one interaction between Nixinova and CubeTheThird all tickets about it have been marked as resolved but this issue persists. Villagers will sometimes randomly raise their prices exponentially despite not being injured or witnessing any of their friends being injured or killed. Here's my case, I set up a trading hall on a Minecraft 1.15.2 Java edition server, I have a fisherman who was a zombie villager I cured. Again, he was not injured and did not see any of his friends get injured or killed yet his price for Cod went from 1 cod -> 1 emerald to 5 cod -> 1 emerald to 9 cod -> 1 emerald. This also occurred with his salmon trade from 1 -> 1 to 5 -> 1 to 7 -> 1. This doesn't make any sense to me so I believe it to be a bug. Please note: Other people on the server are having the same issue, it is not the result of a plugin or etc

We're actually already tracking this issue in MC-146373, so I resolved and linked this ticket as a duplicate.
However, that ticket has already been resolved. That means that this is not considered a bug and won't be fixed. Please do not leave a comment on the linked ticket.
If you haven't already, you might like to make use of the search feature in the future to see if the issue has already been reported.

stop trading with a villager for a while, eventually it will lower it's prices, I don't think it's a bug, I think its dynamic trading, the more you buy stuff from someone the more confident they are upping the prices.
