Items cannot be placed inside of fixed item frames

the adition of fixed and invisible item frames are greaet, but i watched a vid about the newest snapshot and it seems that you can't place items in fixed item frames. is it a bug or a intentional?

This is intentional. In fixed frames you can not take stuff out, or add stuff in.
