When gamerule "naturalRegeneration" is active and fall damage of any caliber is taken, all the player's health will regenerate.
(Similar to the bug in Super Mario 64 where you can dip into water and recover all your health)
What I though would happen:
The player's health should not regenerate.
What really happened:
The player's health regenerated at the same rate as though the gamerule were inactive.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Activate the gamerule with cheats or a command block
2. Take any type of damage
3. Take any amount of fall damage
4. Health will regenerate despite the gamerule being active

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. That's what I did. "/gamerule naturalRegeneration false". After fall damage is taken, health regenerates as normal. Any other kind of damage and health will not regenerate. I did say "when this rule is active." My bad. 😛

Yes, I did. When you take any damage (other than fall damage) and the gamerule is false, health will not regenerate (as intended). However, when you take fall damage with this gamerule as false it will regenerate health as though the gamerule were set as true.

I reinstalled the snapshot launcher. It works fine now. Sorry for wasting your time 😞

You set this gamerule to "false" to not generate any health.
