Sheep, Chickens, and Cows seem to walk through the fence as if it was not there.
What was supposed to happen was the animals were supposed to be contained in the fenced pen.
What happened is the animals walk through the fenced pen.

I've found this in happens multiplayer running 1.6.1. It seems to me that a chicken (haven't tried it with other mobs) get trapped in the corners of fencing and then eventually escape. I've tried hitting them, breeding them, and luring them with seeds and they won't move from the corners.
