When an item is picked up in creative, with filled hotbar and inventory opened, it won't appear in the survival inventory.

What I expected to happen was...:
The Item would directly appear in my survival inventory

What actually happened was...:
It didn't

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set your gamemode to creative
2. Throw an item
3. Fill your hotbar
4. Pick the item up, while opening your inventory
5. Click the chest icon to open your survival inventory
6. The item isn't there
7. Place a container like a chest, dispenser or hopper
8. Look in that container (for example opening the chest)
9. The item is back
