First, I logged into my account via the client. After successfully logging in, I reach the main menu for the client. Whenever I click on the options tab, whether it be in-game or when I'm on the main menu, my client immediately crashes, showing the dirt background that appears on all clients, and [thankfully] comes up with a crash report. I've tried throwing my options.txt and .bin into the trash, and force updating in every possible way, (I even re-installed the client) yet it still crashes upon clicking on the options tab. And yes, my client was completely un-modded when this occurred. Regardless, with it modded or not, it still crashes. I'm thinking this might be an issue with my computer system, but then again, I have no idea.
My complete crash report is viewable below and can be downloaded. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

All the crashes you've listed under that link all have responses that say "Force update your jar," which, as explained in my description, I've done a lot of times. I even deleted my .minecraft folder, essentially erasing everything, yet it still would crash whilst opening options. Hmmm..
Your minecraft.jar is broken:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: axr
at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClassCond(ClassLoader.java:631)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:615)
Check if your firewall or something prevents you from updating.
Rename your .minecraft
directory and do the download again.
By renaming my .minecraft directory, what do you exactly mean? I'm using a mac, so I don't believe I'd have that problem, but are you essentially saying to check for any files outside the .minecraft that should be there?
Never mind, problem solved. Basically I removed all of the existing files on my computer that had to do with minecraft, whether it be the jar, older jars, or files within .minecraft. I completely erased any minecraft files on my computer, and for some reason, that un-corrupted my jar once I re-installed. Difference between what I did now and before was that before I only erased the bin, and no other files.
