Brewing stand not working - can't make potions

when I access the brewing stand and input nether wart or another potion ingredient, nothing happens even though I have 3 water bottles in the appropriate slots.

Did you put in blaze powder in?

I did ya, I tried almost everything you can use to make potions with. Creative and survival.

 

You missed the point. Did you put blaze powder into the  power slot of the brewing stand. It won't work without power.

Yes, I did try that too.

Cannot reproduce. Brewing stands work fine for me in 20w13a.
