I was trading quite a few glass panes with a Cartographer, and he started to give discounts as normal, but when I kept coming back several minecraft days in a row, he started asking for way more than before. I'm not sure if it's an integer overflow or what, but he eventually tried asking for 32 panes for 1 emerald, despite the original amount being 11 for an emerald.
And no, it wasn't a graphical error; I tried only putting fewer panes, and he wouldn't give me an emerald, despite clicking where it should have been.

I can confirm this behavior with glass panes too, haven't seen it with anything else. If it is intended mechanic, maybe it should be documented somewhere in Trade behavior?
I don't think this is intended, as it seems to only happen with glass panes, as I play on a survival realm with some friends and we spam trade with villagers for emeralds.
I am having the same issue on my server. I have 2 farmers with pumpkin trades that are giving reverse discounts. 12 pumpkins per emerald instead of 6 per emerald. Previously, the other farmer I had did not have this issue but my two new ones do.
