Game gets stuck while loading world

Hello ya'll. The issue is mainly in single player worlds. Not sure if this is a widespread issue, or just a hardware base issue. Every time when i boot up the game it would load into the main screen(like it should), but when i select a world in single player and try to load it up, or generate a new world. It would either get stuck half way of loading, or it would get stuck at 0%. I have made sure that this issue was true by leaving it to load up the world even if it gets stuck. In conclusion, after hours of leaving Minecraft to load up the world. It wouldn't budge. Usually to get out of this pickle i have to use task manager to close Minecraft.
