I was wearing gold armour and I opened a chest, and the piglins started attacking me, even though I still had gold armour. My gold armour did not break nor did I do anything, they just attacked me for no reason.

We're actually already tracking this issue in MC-174836, so I resolved and linked this ticket as a duplicate.
