The bug
If you hold a lodestone compass in your hand, they will all point to that lodestone. If you scroll away from the lodestone-specific compass, they will all point to spawn.
How to reproduce
Create a lodestone
Create 2 or more compasses
Right-click with a compass on the lodestone
→ ❌ All compasses will point to that lodestoneScroll to another hotbar slot
→ ❌ All compasses will point to spawn
