Villagers not becoming nitwits

"Additionally, baby villagers have the chance at becoming a nitwit when they grow up." is what is says on the Minecraft Wiki about nitwit villagers, and although this is true for the Bedrock edition of Minecraft, it is not true for the Java Edition.
