I used /locatebiome Basalt_Delta and it told me to go to a set of coordinates. This area was in loaded chunks from before 20w15a. I tped to the coordinates and tried to find the Basalt Delta. In this previosly loaded area, there is a soul sand valley. TLDR; /locatebiome took me to a preveiously loaded chunk from a different version and told me it was a basalt delta

Yes I had this too, in fact the biome I was in (Crimson Forest) /loctebiome told me was a Basalt Delta. I think this is because this was loaded in a previous update and hence if the same seed was used in 20w15a, there was a Basalt Delta there. So I moved away from the biome I was in and /locatebiome then did take me to a Basalt Delta.
