[MC-178423] java.lang.IllegalStateExeception: failed to create a child event loop

This is NOT a duplicate of MC-34749 as Norton was totally disabled, rebooted and the issued remained. The Norton logs showed no update to their software before this issue manifested. Please do not close this as a duplicate of MC-34749 since you do not explain how firewall software is causing this error.

MC-34749 has to do with a virus program. Since I have no virus program running, my problem doesn't pertain to MC-34749.

So Mojang just dumps this error message into a generic cause even though the cause isn't present. And then directs people to the Community to solve Mojang's problems.

We generally don't use "Closed" as Status here on the bug tracker. Please consider the Resolution field for the reason instead.
