Minecraft crashes when selecting a different texture pack/resource pack.
What I expected to happen was...:
that the selected resource pack would be used.
What actually happened was...:
Minecraft crashed to the desktop.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start the game with an other than default texture pack or ...
2. select a new texture pack/resource pack from the Options menu.
