Can’t join friends

Every time I try to join a server it says can’t join server outdated and if other try to join me it says client outdated what do I do?

First thing to make sure is to use the same version. Also 1.15.2 can't join 1.15.1.

Please attach a screenshot showing the error message. And as pointed out by @unknown, which version are you playing in, and which version does the server have?
