I have been working on a minecraft world for about a week or so in 1.15.2 and now chunks of my beautiful organic builds just started randomly switching places. Please someone help me, i do not have a backup and my computer is not filled with memory, its fairly new in fact. Here's two pictures before and after the chunk shuffle. Please help me if you can because i seriously can't lose all this progress just like that. I managed to rebuild the whole world once using old pictures and the cloning command but then it did it again and i don't want to keep rebuilding it to infinity.

There's not much to be done without a backup. I'm assuming something went wrong in the saving process the last time you closed the game. The only thing I can recommend is using a third party software, like MDEdit to rearrange the chunks back to where they should be.

Thanks, i mean ill do it but my chunks still get messed up every time i leave the game

Same thing happened to me in creative flat world 1.15.2.

Do you have any information over whether this has been fixed in the 1.16 snapshots? Or if they are working on fixing this awful issue
There have been some improvements to save files in 1.16 that should mitigate this, but we're not sure if the issue is completely gone yet.
