when i first entered the nether on my hardcore world i spawned in the soul sand valey and as soon as i came, it spawned 6 ghasts around me, i couldnt get much fotos since i didnt want to die. quick update just died to 8 ghasts theres a quick video down there that shows a bit.

This is intended, ghasts have a much higher "weight" in the soul sand valley, which in basic terms means they spawn much more
