How to recreate this:
Step 1: Start up a server
Step 2: Type /kill
The server will lag then kick the player as if the server timed out.
Note: I don't think the gamemode makes a difference.

Looks like i'm not the only one with this bug. I thought i was typing in the command incorrectly. But the server just dies with no errors. Have to force shut down my server. Can't /kill any one.

People vote this so it gets Mojang's attention if they haven't already been notified by mods.

It should also be noted that a server using about 136MB of RAM on average will spike up to 996MB when this happens.
