Mobs hitting through walls

I get hit through walls by endermen, hoglins, ravagers, and zombies. The ravager part is easy to replicate, just stand in a house and stand next to the wall with it outside and it'll hit you. I was standing under a tree in the warped forest, i made a little 2 block high area for me to stand under and was surrounded on all sides except one by trees, and endermen were still able to hit me. Zombies were hitting me through a closed door. Hoglins were hitting me through the tree.
