When I join my server that's running on a Dell T410 with waiting for Minecraft to search for games on my local network, I see that I'm only getting ~30 fps.
I could not for the life of me figure out why I was getting that with my rig. Messing with settings with nvidia, changing the chunk distance, changing everything to its lowest graphical setting I was still only getting that same ~30 fps.
When I decided to add a server and add my local ip address of the T410, I was now getting the ~200+ fps. Imgur link is joining the server with the LAN option and the Server option.
I don't know what causes that and I could not find anything relating to my issue.

Toggling between showing/hiding the ui brings the fps above 200 again. I don't know what could be causing it. Is there any GPU debugging to show what's on screen that could be causing it?
However, going into a single player world the fps is above 200.
