Hello, I am having a major issue with this new version of Minecraft. My pc specs consist of a Ryzen 9 3900x and an RTX 2060. This is more than capable of running Minecraft yet for some reason my framerate slowly goes down when I start a world and it will drop from around 200 fps all the way to 20 fps and will stay there. No matter how I tweak the settings it will do the same thing. It's making the game extremely unplayable and I really hope it's able to be fixed.

What is your current power plan set to in windows?
Control panel --> change the "vieuw by" (top right corner) from catergory to either large or small icons --> power options
it should show the currently selected power plan, which is selected and do you have the high performance option? if so does it still occur when that power plan is selected
And i take it you are using a Desktop and not a Laptop?? Cuz personally on my Laptop i need to have the power plug connected to make it use it's performance
