It seems to me like diamonds have become incredibly more rare for some reason. I have played minecraft for many years now, and I have always been able to just stripmine a 2x1 tunnel for about 45 minutes or so and come back with about a 32 stack or around there. Now both in snapshot version 20w15a till newest snapshot release (20w17a) have not been able to come by 1 single diamond ore using the same method. I have mined for about 2 hours and 30 minutes to 3 hours straight in a row, and come back with 11 diamonds, with a fortune 3 pickaxe. This seems wildly out of place for me. I just wanted to bring that to your attention, and I have spotted a bit of heat on this same problem on multiple reddit posts for last couple of days.
Is this something you're aware of or have come by? Or maybe its intentional?
