[MC-180013] gold ore not smelting

whenever i put golden ore into a any furnace or blast furnace, with fuel, it doesn't smelt. i've tried both in the overworld and the nether.

I have encountered this bug but only in the beta which makes me think they maybe just skipped over gold while programming every smeltable ore in the game.

Works fine for me using either furnace type under 1.15.2 and the latest snapshot. Are you sure you're using Minecraft Java edition?
