Hitboxes do not show when I press f3 + b. all other functions like chunk borders, reloading chunks work perfectly. and also the b key on my keyboard works. but f3 + b key does not show hitboxes. I tried all other keys to see if any of them show the hitboxes but none do.

We already have another ticket for this, MC-164531, so I've resolved yours as a duplicate of that report.
Not exactly sure what the cause is, are you using any non-standard keyboard layout, are you on a laptop, or similar?
What is
/gamerule reducedDebugInfoset to? Did you enable "Reduced Debug Info" in your chat settings?
