Fishing rods dont work properly, if i try to fish, the bubbles come, but i cant retrieve my fishing rod unless the fish escapes.

Same problem here. Casting is normal, bobber appears normal, line of blue water particles approaches and the bobber sinks-- all normal. right click causes the bobber to sink into the water (catching nothing, just hangs there), a second right click cancels the initial cast and resets the rod.
Running Java edition on a Mac with High Sierra.
