Not able to exit full screen by moving my cursor to the top or bottom of the screen.

On MacOS, when I move my cursor to the top of the screen, it's supposed to show the menu for the window, and when I move it to the bottom of the screen, it's supposed to show my applications. It does neither and I can no longer access any other part of my computer without quitting the game. It also automatically fullscreens even when I don't want it to.
