When bone meal is used on dark oak, spruce and jungle saplings in a 2x2 arrangement they do not grow at all. They do not grow into trees naturally either.

I cannot seem to reproduce your issue. Make sure the trees have enough room and light to grow. If you are sure that they have enough room and light, please record a video or take a screenshot and attach it to your report
This is already being tracked MC-179909
I just tested something with Dark Oak and it grew using bone meal. Haven't tried the other trees.
