When trying to go into one of my Minecraft Worlds I couldn't find anything. I tried to correct the issue manually but before I could even do anything I found numerous files in my save data, all of them somehow being a level dat file. If anyone can somehow help me with this issue I'm all ears.

Did you open the world in any other program while you were playing in it?
Can you try renaming one of the
level<numbers>.datfiles tolevel.dat? After you did that, does the issue still happen?
