The bug

In the inventory the nether sprouts appear too high. See image below. This also affects the hand position so it appears floating instead on in your hand unlike all the other items.

Caused by fixing MC-170930.

This is intended, no? Wasnt it being too low a bug in itself?

Even though this is a bug fix, it still seems that it isn't intended.

Why is this intended? Hanging roots, lightning rods and dripleaves have all been fixed so this must be reopened. Discuss why this is intended.
