Arrows, when shot through lava or with a Flame bow, will display fire only on the front side. That's fine. But whenever being overhead from the arrows, the fire will display only on the "front" side and not when being "behind" the arrows. The attached pic shows it better. All of those arrows have the fire entity on them, but you can't really see that.
