I decided to pacify a pillager outpost in my hardcore by filling everything with slabs.
But after I killed the last remaining pillagers, no new ones spawned.
I even copied the world, but no pillagers spawned. I copied it again, this time, they spawned. It´s super weird, and sometimes they spawn normally sometimes they don´t.

Please edit the Affects Version/s field and select the specific Released Version you were using when you encountered the reported issue.
