In creative mode, you can break item frames and paintings with a sword!

Thats intended... Item frams and paintings are not blocks... they are entities. The sword thing in creative it blocks only

I think it works like adventure mode block breaking, but only with swords

Your wrong. You can break blocks with improper tools in creative mode. Heck, you can use your fists!

anything but swords. Swords are not block breakers in creative mode anymore and was changed that way by mojang
