I have a survival world that i have been playing since 20w20a and i loaded up 20w22a on my world. there was a insane difference is FPS to the point that singleplayer is unplayable with the current snapshot. on 20w20a, i have 15 render distance and 30FPS. on 20w22a, i had 3 render distance and 10FPS.

Similar problem. On my laptop (a 2013 Macbook Pro with Retina display) I can play 1.15.2 with 55-60fps, but with the latest 20w22a I get 2-5 fps on that same laptop. Any world I generate with 20w22a, bad performance is consistent. I also do wait a while for the world to fully generate and render. At max, it's 5 fps afterwards. Needless to say, totally unplayable. I don't hope this is the expected performance for when 1.16 at actually launches.
