When a snow-covered grass block is grabbed by an Enderman, it does not update to a normal grass block and instead becomes a bugged snowy grass block.
To replicate, simply place snow on top of grass blocks, spawn some Endermen, and wait.
Also please consider rescinding the change to Endermen not despawning after picking up a block, the amount of clutter they cause now is unreal.
