Realm Render Distance

Whenever I play on Realms for Java the Render distance is always lower then what my normal render distance is. no matter what I do the render distance is always low. I know that I am not the only one experiencing this and it isn't even to do with the device I have. this is realy annoying and even more so in the end when if I am going faster then the chunk loading then I could die in the void.
