[MC-188227] Username is not transparent in front of Nether portal blocks

On multiplayer servers, a player's username in front of a Nether portal block (with or without sneaking) does not render the portion of the Nether portal that is covered by the name tag. I do not believe this is intended.

I have not experienced this personally, I saw it in a YouTube video on a vanilla 1.15.2 server.
