[MC-188847] Cannot Connect to World.

Hello, I have recently bought mine craft to play with my friends on my Xbox. Everytime we go to join worlds it says cannot connect to world. Every time. I can play multiplayer games easily. Please get this fixed ASAP or I will have to ask for a refund. It did not let me report my version properly which is 1.14.60

This is for bugs related to Minecraft: Java Edition. Xbox uses Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. If you want to play with your friends on Xbox, you need to get bedrock edition for your PC.

This makes no sense, so I need to buy another minecraft but On the PC? How will me getting it for my Pc make the difference? And if you can explain to me how I can go about this.
