[LINUX] Blocks in partial view/from certain angle at edge of screen are sometimes see through.

When viewing blocks from a certain angle if they are touching the edge of the screen they will become see through as if they are not rendered at all. If you ask me and my uninformed opinion it is as if the code that decides whether a block is seen by the player or not and therefore is rendered is not functioning properly. I have attached screenshots displaying the issue.

This happened as far as I can tell no matter what I did; switching versions of java (sun 6, 7, openjdk) fast or fancy graphics, optifine or not.

How to reproduce: In an environment similar to mine stand next to a contiguous wall of blocks and look at a block on the edge of your screen at a certain angle. It might seem like it is only flickering at first but if you focus you can find an angle where it just disappears (at least for me).

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while ingame and attach the crash report here.

For a while it seemed I would not be able to reproduce it anymore but occurred again after some time running the client and then keeps recurring every time I restart it. Here is the crash log and a screen shot of what it looks like.

This is a driver issue

OpenGL: Mesa DRI Intel(R) Sandybridge Mobile GL version 3.0 Mesa 9.2.0, Intel Open Source Technology Center

This is a technical support issue; this site is for bug reports only. For technical support please use the Mojang Support Center.

I'm sorry if I'm a bit ignorant about these things, but I am a bit confused. You're saying it's a driver issue; is that because of a mismatch of drivers? Or is this based on some other bug-testing you did? I'm pretty sure I at least have the correct drivers. I indicated that I do have a intel hd 3000 graphics card, and as such I should be expected to have Intel(R) Sandybridge Mobile drivers. I would be very grateful if you could help clear up my confusion here.

EDIT: On a second and closer read it seems there still might be some outstanding graphical issues in the intel driver even though the problem is marked as fixed on launchpad. My apologies for my snippiness 😞.
