Minecraft Bar Fills 90% Then Crashes

Earlier today i updated to Windows Version 1909. Shortly after updating i attempted to play minecraft and ran into an issue where the Mojang loading screen would appear and the bar would fill 90% of the way and then the game would freeze and crash. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, i attempted to switch to different versions of the game and i went through various different faqs and search engines and have not found a single thing.
