As I was trading with a group of 5 piglins they became enraged at me after getting hit by a ghast fireball. I did not hurt them and had a full set of gold armor with full durability. After the fireball hit, I was on fire with the piglins surrounding me. It was very unfair. I was playing a hardcore world and had been playing it safe for the 50 hours of time it took to get where I was. please fix this so it doesn't ruin any other person's world and day.

I know I didn't hit the fireball because I didn't even know it was flying at me. I was just standing there waiting to get traded loot from the piglins. I also wasn't using my shield if that makes the fireball bounce back. I had a full set of gold armor with full durability. I had enough durability to where nothing broke.
I'm unable to reproduce this. What is /gamerule universalAnger set to? Perhaps the ghast hit one of the piglins and thus they wanted to take revenge?
Are you sure that you did not "Tennis Hit" The fireball back at the ghast? Because when you hit the fireball, it counts as "Your" Attack.
