I keep receiving the error below when trying to play on my brother's minecraft server. There seems to be absolutely no fix for this and it is very frustrating as this is about the only game I can play with them. My GF was playing in our server as well on a laptop right next to me and she did not get disconnected once where as I get disconnected every time I join the server. The game is unplayable. Can I please get help resolving this issue so that I can actually enjoy minecraft.

My question to the parent issue that was linked is you mention that this is not a mojang issue and mojang cannot be responsible for the issue, but this seems to be an issue all over the place when googled and mojang just says they cannot assist. How is this even possible? there must be something that someone can do to actually be able to play the game and not have this Java.IOException. This has ruined the game for me and it blows my mind that this cannot be solved and mojang is putting no effort into helping it's player base by saying "This issue is not caused by Minecraft, and then there is nothing mojang can do for fixing it."
I would please like another response to see what actions are being taken to assist in getting this fixed as this game i only got to play with friends and is unplayable as i disconnect from my brothers server 5 seconds within joining it.
