When a wolf flows down a water stream, and if the water stream isn't abrupted by anything like signs etc. after the wolf flows down. A shaking off sound will play but their lighting will be darker than normal.
Steps to Reproduce
Create a flowing water stream like the one I attached in the picture. Make sure it's a closed area.
Get on top of the water stream and summon a tamed wolf using "/summon minecraft:wolf ~ ~ ~ {Owner:_PlayerName}"
While the dog is flowing down make him sit. Unless, it will shake off the water when he goes down stream.
Let him flow all the way until the water stream ends. Don't block off the water stream to end shortly using signs etc.
When the wolf gets to the end of the water stream, he will play a shaking off sound but the animation won't play and he will still be wet and appear darker than usual.

The issue seems to have been fixed but I noticed that the water particles coming from the wolf are missing even if the wolf is standing up or down.
Cannot reproduce the missing water particles . Is that only under some certain circumstances (like in the setup shown on the screenshot) or are they missing for you in general?
Still in 1.16.1 but it doesn't work on wolfs who aren't sitting.
