Since the Minecraft update of version 1.16.1 on PS4, I have tried to go into the game, however it doesn’t go anywhere from the new intro banner. Just sits there and does nothing. I have done several things to try to fix the issue, but nothing has worked. After the update completed yesterday it worked just fine with some lagging, but then today, it has yet to work.

Hi there!
The PS4 doesn't support the Java edition of the game, only Bedrock. Please create a new bug report in the Bedrock project so that it can be seen by the people who know the most about that version of the game.
