when going from creative to spectator mode using f3+f4 and clicking a chest right away you go invisible

I was going from creative to spectator mode using f3+f4 then, I ran into the problem that my hand or UI/Hub was not showing up and when I looked into inventory I was invisible. There were no particle effects or anything. 

Only shows up when flying when shifting to the floor the effect stopped happing.
