Invisible Item Drops

What I expected to happen was...:
When I break a block, like stone, for example, cobblestone should visibly drop on the ground

What actually happened was...:
There was cobblestone, but it was invisible, so I couldn't tell where it was, and pressing F3+B to turn on hitboxes didn't help either

Steps to Reproduce:
1. For me, literally all I have to do is break a block
