Place the redstone block on top of one block of piston, then place the redstone block on two blocks and break the redstone block under one block. However, the piston still works.

Hello, this bug is MC-108, it is called "Quasi-Connectivity" (QC), which was kept in the game up to this day, as it facilitates some Redstoning and a fair amount of the tech community get enraged if it were to be removed; however, this bug is also also controversial, as it gets in the way of other people's contraptions that fail due to QC. You're not the only one opening bugposts up to this day due to being confused about QC.
This is in Java Minecraft, however, QC does not exist in Bedrock Edition.
