I changed my name EpicKC01Gamer to LukasTheBowgart. After I've done that , I can't use basic commands. Also when I Leave the game the "Saving World" is frozen and I'm unable to close it unless if I restart the computer. I am on version 1.15.2 if it's necessary.

Bugs are only accepted for the latest version of the game (1.16.1)

Seems like cheats are not enabled in your world.

It could also actually be you lost OP powers. I had this issue once too when I changed name on a server I was co-owner of.
